Completed liturgical stole

Mom finished the liturgical stole this morning and sent pictures. Isn't it beautiful? I tatted the crosses in Yarnplayer's "Golden Glow" size 20. The cross pattern is from Tatting Patterns by Lyn Morton.

  1. The stole was woven with 20/2 perle cotton for the warp and tabby, 5/2 perle for the pattern. Pattern is variation of Margurite Davidson's Ancient Rose. Fiber from Yarn Barn of Kansas.

  2. Oh, WOW! It is beautiful. You both did such a nice job! So, am I right in guessing that your mother wove the stole? Wow, what a lovely collaborative effort!

  4. This is beyond words. What a labor of love from both of you. The weaving and the tatting are beautiful and compliment each other so well. I'm sure your mom's minister will be very pleased.

  5. Diane's Mom and Diane, that is one of the prettiest liturgical stoles I've ever seen! Great job! You should work on more projects together like this and open an Etsy shop!
